AI Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Keperawatan Altruistik permits the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted tools in manuscript preparation, provided that their use complies with research integrity, publication ethics, and confidentiality principles.

1. Use of AI by Authors : Authors may use AI tools for language editing, translation, and writing assistance. Authors must disclose the use of AI when it contributes to substantive manuscript content, analysis, or interpretation. All AI-generated content must be critically reviewed and verified by the authors.

2. Authorship and Accountability : AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, validity, and integrity of their manuscripts.

3. Prohibited Use : AI must not be used to fabricate or falsify data, references, research findings, or images, or to plagiarize content. Authors must protect patient confidentiality and personal data when using AI tools.

4. Responsibilities of Reviewers and Editors : Reviewers and editors must maintain manuscript confidentiality and must not upload unpublished manuscripts or confidential materials to external AI tools without appropriate authorization and safeguards. Editorial decisions must remain based on independent human judgment.

5. Compliance and Enforcement : The journal may request clarification regarding AI use and take appropriate action in cases of policy violations, in accordance with its publication ethics procedures.

By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Ilmiah Keperawatan Altruistik, authors agree to comply with this policy and accept full responsibility for their work.
