Investigasi Perspektif Perawat Pendidik Klinis Tentang Pendidikan Klinis Berbasis Budaya dalam Pendidikan Keperawatan

Perawat pendidik klinis yang tidak melibatkan aspek budaya dalam proses pembelajaran klinis akan mempengaruhi serta menghambat capaian tujuan pembelajaran klinis. Unsur budaya dalam Pendidikan klinis dapat meningkatkan capaian tujuan pembelajaran klinis. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengeksplorasi perspektif perawat pendidik klinis tentang pendidikan klinis berbasis budaya dalam pendidikan keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif terhadap 10 perawat pendidik klinik di dua rumah sakit pendidikan di Jakarta, Indonesia. Wawancara semistruktur dilaksanakan pada September – Oktober 2022. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis konten. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 4 tema tentang pendidikan klinis berbasis budaya dalam perspektif perawat pendidik klinis. Tema-tema tersebut; ialah 1) Peserta didik pasif, kurang inisiatif, dan menunggu instruksi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran klinis, 2) Tugas rangkap pendidik klinis, pendidik klinis belum optimal melaksanakan bimbingan klinis kepada peserta didik, 3) Budaya umum yang dimiliki sebelumnya menjadi tantangan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran klinis, dan 4) Dukungan fasilitas belajar di unit pembelajaran klinis mempengaruhi proses pendidikan klinis berbasis budaya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah pendidikan klinis berbasis budaya belum sepenuhnya dipahami dan diaplikasikan oleh perawat pendidik klinis dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran klinis di unit/ruang pembelajaran klinis.
