Penerapan Terapi Relaksasi Benson Untuk Mengurangi Stres pada Wanita Hamil Dengan Preeklampsia

Abstrak

Latar belakang: Preeklampsia merupakan salah satu komplikasi kehamilan yang berisiko tinggi menyebabkan stres pada ibu hamil. Stres yang tidak ditangani dapat memperburuk kondisi kehamilan dan membahayakan kesehatan ibu serta janin. Intervensi non-farmakologis seperti terapi relaksasi Benson dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan tingkat stres pada ibu hamil dengan preeklampsia. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh terapi relaksasi Benson dalam menurunkan tingkat stres pada ibu hamil dengan preeklampsia. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan desain one subject pre-post intervention. Subjek adalah seorang ibu hamil usia 33 tahun dengan preeklampsia. Intervensi terapi relaksasi Benson diberikan selama tiga hari berturut-turut. Evaluasi tingkat stres dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner DASS-21 sebelum dan sesudah intervensi setiap hari. Hasil: Tingkat stres pada hari pertama berada dalam kategori sedang, kemudian menurun menjadi kategori normal pada hari kedua dan tetap stabil pada hari ketiga. Kesimpulan: Terapi relaksasi Benson efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat stres pada ibu hamil dengan preeklampsia dalam waktu singkat, sehingga dapat dijadikan intervensi non-farmakologis alternatif dalam mendukung kesehatan mental ibu hamil berisiko.
